Homemade Italian Salad Dressing
If you ever get bored with olive oil and balsamic vinegar on your salads, here's a great homemade Italian salad dressing recipe for you to try.
You can store it in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. This will make about 1 cup of dressing.
5 tbsp red wine vinegar (I used balsamic vinegar)
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
1/8 tsp dried basil
1/8 tsp dried thyme
1/8 tsp dried oregano
Blend ingredients in bullet/blender or shake well in airtight container.
In this salad I have:
home grown lettuce and spinach
grated carrots
diced red onion
hard boiled eggs
blueberries
